Evaluation (SIADAP)

The application of Article 18 of the State Budget Law for 2018 (Law No. 114/2017, of 29 December) made it possible, after a freeze in place since 2011, to implement mandatory changes in remuneration positioning.

Thus, in the absence of a revision of the Scientific Research Career Statute that would incorporate specific rules for performance evaluation, and given that no adaptation of the general SIADAP regime has been made for this purpose, it is necessary to use the available legal mechanisms to assign performance evaluations to research staff, enabling them to benefit from that mechanism.
