Culture ULisboa
A Universidade de Lisboa has several green spaces considered natural, historical, and scientific heritage.
- Ajuda Botanical Garden: with more than 240 years of history, it was the first botanical garden in the country. It is located on Calçada da Ajuda, in Lisbon.
- Tapada da Ajuda: classified as a Property of Public Interest and managed by the School of Agriculture (ISA) of ULisboa. It is located between the Monsanto Forest Park and the Alcântara valley.
- Tropical Botanical Garden: a scientific and recreational green space, featuring mainly exotic species planted to study the flora of the former Portuguese colonies.
