Work–Life Balance
Best Practices for Telework
Telework is a work arrangement that offers several advantages for both employees and the institution, reducing operational costs, minimizing time lost in commuting, and increasing productivity and employee satisfaction. However, it is advisable to follow a set of best practices to mitigate potential risks, such as professional isolation or issues arising from inadequate working conditions. At Instituto Superior Técnico, many employees benefit from this work arrangement.
The Psychosocial Risk Assessment Committee – Technical Team (CARP‑T) has developed a guide presenting strategies for employees and managers, answers to frequently asked questions, and useful resources to help make the most of telework and family life, balancing both effectively.
